The Chair welcomed Members, there were no apologies.
The Committee scrutinised the Chief Medical Officer on his Annual Report.
The Committee heard evidence from the WLGA and ADEW.
The Committee heard evidence from the Children’s Commissionerfor Wales.
The Committee heard evidence from the Welsh Language Commissioner.
The Committee heard evidence from the President of the Special Educational Needs Tribunal for Wales (SENTW).
The papers were noted.
Paper to note 6 – It was agreed the Committee would monitor ongoing developments relating to the My Travel Pass scheme.
Paper to note 8 - It was agreed the Committee would write to the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Well-being and Sport to gather further information relating to CAMHS and the Framework for a School Nursing Service in Wales.
Paper to note 11 – It was agreed the Committee would await the findings from the Culture, Welsh Language and Communications Committee’s inquiry into the Welsh Government's new Welsh Language Strategy.
The motion was agreed.
